ALOK BIO
ALOK (they/them) is an internationally acclaimed poet, comedian, public speaker, and actor. They currently hold a first look deal in Comedy with Sony Pictures Television. ALOK’s literary works “Beyond the Gender Binary,” “Femme in Public,” and “Your Wound, My Garden,” have garnered global recognition. Their dynamic presence has captivated audiences in over 40 countries, with sold-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Netflix is a Joke Festival, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. ALOK's first comedy special BIOLOGY! executive produced by Christopher Guest was released on YouTube in December 2024. They are the subject of the docu-short “ALOK” executive produced by Jodie Foster and directed by Alex Hedison, which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024. On screen, they can also be seen in Complicated Order, The Trans List, and Absolute Dominion (forthcoming). On television, they can be seen on HBO's Sex Lives of College Girls, Sort Of and Random Acts of Flyness, Hulu’s Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne, and Netflix’s Gender Agenda Comedy Special and Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness.
ELSZ BIO
ELSZ is a harpist, singer, ritual (performance) artist and creative coach, their work is captivating, experimental, and refined over 16 years. They sculpt hypnotic musical productions that draw listeners back into their bodies and provide people with a space to heal and deep dive into their internal worlds. ELSZ released the first volume of their much anticipated album ‘Blue Scar’ in 2022, which is dedicated survivors and victims of gender violence. ELSZ has been recording the 4 part album with five time Grammy award-winning sound engineer, Jeremy Loucas at NYC’s oldest recording studio, Sear Sound. 'Blue Scar' Vol I features important voices from queer, feminist & diasporic communities to offer intimate windows into the experience of survival. The raw, dulcet tones of ELSZ's voice and their evocative live shows have reached audiences worldwide in over 35 cities across 20 countries. ELSZ was included in the Daily Beasts ‘The very best of SXSW 2018’ along side the likes of Princess Nokia. Music publications such as Indie Current, The Knockturnal and Purple Sneakers have compared ELSZ' music to Kelela, Bjork, and FKA Twigs.
