The Big Sing Musical Improv Festival

Four improv powerhouses take to the stage:

Heather Urquhart improvises with The Maydays, whose flagship show, 'Happily Never After' is an improvised show in the style of Tim Burton. She also improvises with the Olivier award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical.

Lucy Trodd has been performing, teaching and directing improv for over 20 years. As a founder member of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, she specialises in improvised singing and musicals.

Raquel Palmas is an improviser, actress, and musical comedian. She began doing improv as most do in her front yard, with her grandma yelling short-form game instructions. After 12 years of performing in New York's most iconic basements, she joined international comedy theater Boom Chicago as a mainstage cast member for two years.

Stacey Smith grew up steeped in music and musical theater before studying theater, speech, and music at university. She moved to Chicago to pursue comedy, where she trained at The Second City, iO, and The Annoyance, landing her first full-time gig touring with The Second City.
