The period to apply for the Bono Cultural Joven in 2024 and enjoy it in 2025 is now open: From June 17 to September 16, 2024, young people who have turned or will turn 18 years old (born in 2006) can apply for their Bono Cultural Joven to spend throughout 2025.

What is the Bono Cultural Joven?
The Bono Cultural Joven is a €400 economic aid provided by the Spanish Government to young people the year they turn 18, to be used during the following year. This voucher can be used to purchase cultural products and services, such as movie tickets, theater, concerts and festivals, exhibitions, books, video games, etc.
How to apply for the Bono Cultural Joven 2024
If you turn 18 in 2024 (meaning you were born in 2006), you can now apply for your Bono Cultural Joven to use the following year. The application can be done online or in person.
Online application
To apply online, follow these steps:
- Go to the Bono Cultural Joven website: bonoculturajoven.gob.es
- Click on the "Apply" button.
- Enter your personal information and create a password.
- Authenticate with Cl@ve or Digital Certificate.
- Confirm your application.
Offline application
To apply in person, go to a Correos office with the following documentation:
- Valid ID or passport.
- Proof of residence registration.
- Proof of having turned 18 years old in 2023.
- Application deadlines
The deadline to apply for the 2024 Bono Cultural Joven ended on October 31, 2023, but young people who applied can continue to enjoy it throughout 2024!
How is the Bono Cultural Joven loaded?
Once your application is approved, you will receive an email with a link to download the Bono Cultural Joven in virtual prepaid card format. If you do not have a phone with payment technology, you can request your Bono Cultural Joven in physical format when submitting your application.
How long do I have to spend the Bono Cultural Joven?
The Bono Cultural Joven is valid for 12 months from its activation date.
What happens if I don't spend all of the Bono Cultural Joven?
The amount not spent from the Bono Cultural Joven cannot be recovered. However, you can use it to purchase cultural products and services of a higher amount than what you have spent.
